Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 18, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Vonda (operated by VONDA LLC) and AAA Bail Bonds Utah collect, use, and share your information when you use the Vonda platform to obtain or manage a bail bond.
1. Information we collect.
About you (the indemnitor or customer): name, address, phone, email, date of birth, government ID information, employment information, and emergency contacts. About the defendant: name, date of birth, booking information, charges, court and jail information. Payment information: processed by a third-party payment processor. Vonda does not store full card numbers or security codes. We retain only the transaction ID, the last 4 digits of the card, the card brand, and the amount. Documents: indemnification contracts, signed disclosures, and related records. Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, and usage logs.
2. How we use your information.
To prepare, post, and manage your bail bond. To communicate with you about your bond, court dates, payments, and account matters. To comply with legal, regulatory, and surety requirements. To prevent fraud, protect our rights, and secure the platform.
3. Who we share information with.
Courts and jails: as required to post and maintain the bond. The surety company that underwrites the bond. Service providers who help us operate the platform (payment processing, e-signature, email and SMS delivery, cloud hosting). These providers are contractually bound to protect your information. Law enforcement and regulators when required by law, subpoena, or court order. In connection with a business transfer (e.g., a sale or merger of VONDA LLC or AAA Bail Bonds Utah).
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How long we keep your information.
We retain bail bond records for the period required by Utah law and surety requirements, typically no less than seven (7) years after the bond is exonerated or discharged. Some records may be retained longer if required by law or to resolve disputes.
5. Security.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and segregation of payment data via our PCI-compliant payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting AAA Bail Bonds Utah. Deletion may be limited by legal record-retention requirements applicable to bail bonds.
7. Children.
The Vonda platform is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
9. SMS communications.
If you select SMS as your preferred contact method during intake, or enable SMS notifications in your account settings, AAA Bail Bonds Utah will send recurring text messages to the phone number you provide. These messages relate to the status of your bail bond application — including bond received, approval, payment confirmation, signature required, bond delivery, and defendant release.
Message frequency varies based on bond activity; a typical bond receives between 5 and 8 messages over its lifecycle. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a confirmation and no further SMS will be sent. Reply HELP for support information.
We do not share your phone number or SMS opt-in information with third parties for marketing purposes, and we do not sell it. Phone numbers and SMS consent are used only to operate this bail bond service.
