Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to bail bond premium payments made to AAA Bail Bonds Utah through the Vonda platform.

1. Premium is non-refundable once the bond is posted.

The bail bond premium is the fee you pay to AAA Bail Bonds Utah for posting a bail bond on behalf of a defendant. The premium is fully earned at the moment the bond is posted with the court or jail. Once the bond is posted, the premium is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the case, the length of time the defendant is on bond, or any subsequent events.

2. When refunds are available.

A refund of the premium will be issued only in the following situations: (a) The court or jail declines or rejects the bond before it is posted. (b) The bond is never posted for any reason, including a decision not to proceed. (c) You were charged in error, charged the wrong amount, or charged twice for the same bond.

3. How to request a refund.

Contact AAA Bail Bonds Utah at utahaaabailbonds@gmail.com / +18013928220 as soon as possible. Include the defendant's name, the approximate date of the charge, and a brief description of the issue. Refund requests must be made within 60 days of the original charge.

4. Refund timing and method.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment card within 5-10 business days. We do not issue refunds by cash, check, or to a different card or account.

5. Collateral is separate from premium.

If you posted collateral (cash, property, or other security) in addition to the premium, the return of that collateral is governed by your indemnification contract, not this Refund Policy. Collateral is generally returned after the court exonerates the bond and any amounts owed under the indemnification contract have been satisfied.

6. Chargebacks.

If you believe you were charged in error, please contact AAA Bail Bonds Utah before disputing the charge with your card issuer. Most issues can be resolved directly and more quickly.
